Frances Coen Obituary

Frances Irene Byrde COEN Born April 13, 1918 in Great Falls, MT to Henry and Agnes Byrde. She married Alfred E. Coen on November 17, 1945. He preceded her in death August 26, 1968. Irene was an active member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Seattle. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (David) Steuck and Margaret Earlene (Stephen) Gerfin; grand children, Sean (Susan) Ryan, William (Sarah) Herr, Julie (Andrew) Croasdell, and James (Michelle) Ryan; and great grand children, Amanda, Patrick, and Andrew Ryan, Madison and Taggart Herr, Sydney and Ryan Croasdell, and Jordan and Mackenzie Ryan. Irene was a loving mother and grand mother. We loved her in life and love her in death. We will miss her terribly. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, February 4th, at 1:00 p.m. at Holyrood Mausoleum Chapel. Hoffner Fisher & Harvey

Dear Kathleen and Earlene,
I remember your mother well, and am sorry to hear about her death. Those days at St. Margaret's seem very far away, so it was lovely to hear that your mother was still a parishioner.
