Frank Wallace Obituary

Frank Stewart Wallace

Frank Stewart Wallace entered into the Joy of our Lord on March 16, 2016, in Sun City West, AZ. Born in Seattle, Washington to Frank and Elizabeth Wallace, Frank graduated from Lincoln High School, served with honor in the US Navy submarine forces, and graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Physics. Frank retired after over 30 years with Boeing, spending most of his career in computer services. In retirement, Frank devoted much of his time to church, family, and volunteering with a willingness to help whenever and wherever needed. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, travel and his number one relaxation - golf.

Frank is survived by his loving wife June, son Bryce Wallace, daughter Tamara Bonnizzio (Dan), sister Betty Boddy (Bill), brother Walt Wallace, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Christine Babcock (Harry).

A memorial service will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 18826 Third Ave NW Shoreline, WA on Sunday, April 10th, 2016 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvin Presbyterian Church or Bridge Disabilities Ministries, 12356 Northup Way, Bellevue, WA 98005.

Recently, I was thinking about Dad and a great memory popped up of him, myself, and my Godfather fishing on Crater lake in a rain storm. They had their poles in rod holders and I tried to do the same. It ended up being an oar holder. I got a bite and there went my rod overboard. I freaked out and Bruce and Dad had a good laugh. Sure miss you Dad.

Remembering Frank fondly: he was full of fun and had a brilliant mind. He also had a heart for the helpless and homeless. We miss him but we know he is reveling in the presence of Jesus. Here´s to a sweet brother-in-law-miss you. Carol

To Frank's family I'd just like to say this is a man who will definitely be missed by many. He was a long-time supporter of Bridge Disability Ministries, had a tremendous heart for people living with disabilities, and made a tremendous contribution through his volunteer and board service to our organization. We appreciate and are very thankful that we had him for as long as we did.

We are so sorry to hear of Frank's recent death! He was far too young. I know it must be devastating to you, June. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this sad, sad time. Wish we could be at the memorial, but we will be out-of-town. Give yourself a big HUG from us and remember what a wonderful life you and Frank have had together. What a great guy! And brilliant! Not much he couldn't discern or do. I treasure the beautiful framing he did for us. He was genuinely interested in people and their goals and accomplishments. He had a heart for the less fortunate and worked to make things better for them. I am proud to have had him as my brother-in-law. He will be sorely missed. We loved you, Frank.
