Sister Gabriel Mary McCaddon

Sister Gabriel Mary McCADDON (Mary McCaddon) SNJM Born Mary McCaddon July 25, 1920 in Bellingham, Washington to Francis W. and Dorothy (Leonard) McCaddon. Died October 30, 2002 in Seattle. A member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary since 1942, Sister Gabriel Mary taught in elementary schools in Seattle, Tacoma, Everett and Spokane. She was a first grade teacher from 1944 to 1994, except for two years. Her parents and two brothers, Joseph and John McCaddon, preceded her in death. Two sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews and their extended families survive her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated today, Saturday, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Memorial services will be held in Spokane at the Convent of the Sisters of the Holy Names at a later date. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane.
