Our beloved George passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 17th at the age of 95. He was a legendary fly fisherman, expert fly tyer, avid outdoors man, small business owner, vegetable gardener and B17 bomber pilot in WWII. He leaves behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was active in the Steelhead Trout club of WA and the Skagit Men's Garden club. His storytelling and smiles will live on as he fly fishes into eternity.

We have not forgotten George! Each time we drive by I feel a bit of both sadness he is gone, and happiness thinking of what we shared.

To George's Family,
George was very special to us, loaning us his garden space, and telling us his stories from World War II. We were very fond of him, shared food, and have been concerned when we noted he was gone. Please let us know how to contact you, and if there is to be a service at any time. Thank you so much. We are saddened by this loss.

George was a friend to me on the river. Whenever I fished in Oso I made it a point to come by his place. What a great guy---I will miss him.
