Dr. Gerry Schultz passed away after a long illness at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, WA. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, his surviving son, Randal (Randy) who did Gerry's lab work for many years; his granddaughter Breanna Naccaroto (Mike); his grandson Brian; his great grandchildren: Kassidy, Nikol, and Olivia; his sister, Carolyn Schultz Van (Eric) and their 4 children: Cheryl, Greg, Gordy, and Mellinda and their combined offspring: Michaell, Douglas, Kyle, Eric, Chris, Alex, Jeff, Aaron, Laura, and Juan Li.
He is predeceased by his father, Dr. Arthur G. Schultz and his mother,. Margaret D. Schultz and by his youngest son, Kennet (Kenny) Schultz.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 8 at 2:00 pm at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, 1717 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, WA, in the Choir Room, S150.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, www.parkinson's.org

Dr. Schultz was the first and greatest dentist I've ever worked for. He showed me what dentistry is supposed to look like. His love for life, his grandchildren, magic and humor will be greatly missed.

Gerry and I first met in the 60's in a dental study group, of which both of us were members of equal status. We worked closely with various challenges in our field of dentistry over the years, and I admired him a lot: his discipline and his perscipacity often inspired me. His presence in the dental community will be greatly missed.
