Gertrude Leendertsen Obituary

Gertrude Marie LEENDERTSEN Born March 22, 1912 in San Juan Bautista, California, passed away in Seattle on March 3, 2004 at nearly 92 years of age. Her devotion to her faith was evident in everything she did for her family, friends and the less fortunate. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm for life were an inspiration. Gertrude is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Howard R. Leendertsen. She is survived by her sons, Howard Vincent Leendertsen and his wife Mischa, Gerald Edward Leendertsen and his wife Nadena, grandchildren Elizabeth (Giedraitis) and her husband Jim, of Walnut Creek, CA, Christine Marie Leendertsen of San Francisco, CA, Ashley Marie Leendertsen, and great granddaughter Lataya Leendertsen. A Private Family Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue. Remembrances may be made to: The Jesuit Seminary Association, 133 Kearny Street, San Francisco, CA 94108-4811
