Married to our dear cousin Mary, we knew Hans to be a real gentleman, a remarkable man. He was eager to show us around Seattle when we visited. He was interesting to converse with, always eager to share knowledge and wisdom and to learn new things himself. We'll not forget such a kind, intelligent soul and a genuinely good person. Hans had collected the mail for All Aboard Washington. He showed me the ropes in getting the mail and depositing checks for the organization. He was always so pleasant and cheerful and will always be missed by my husband and myself.
