Harry Schmidt Obituary
Harry H. (Bud) SCHMIDT Bud, surrounded by family, passed at home on August 22, 2007 at age 82. He was survived by his daughters Deborah Dunn and her husband Bob, Kerry Schmidt and Sammie, son Greg and his wife Kim and grandchildren Miranda (13), Dakotah (9), also his brother Don and family. Bud was a veteran of WWII, honored with five medals, a graduate with a BA Business degree from the University of Washington, a manager of Seattle's Paramount and 5th Ave theaters and a manger with the Boeing Co. He and wife Bernice were married 55 years. Bud was a gentle soul who gave wit and wisdom to everyone he met with an open heart. A quote from one of his beloved hobbies, writing: "Think negative thoughts and negative thoughts will happen. Think positive thoughts and positive thoughts will happen. It's your choice!" Donations in memory of Harry (Bud) Schmidt with appreciation can be made to Children's Hospital.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I went to elementry school with Greg and worked briefly @ Boeing and saw him there.

Dear Family,
I'm writing this on behalf of my father and mother, George and Fran Schmidt. Dad, as you may know is suffering from Alzheimers and is unable to write. He's told me many times about the good times they had visiting with Bud and Bernice. I'm sure Bud will be missed.
There aren't many of us in the Jacob Schmidt lineage left. As a genealogist, I'd appreciate the opportunity to keep in touch. If one of you in the family would send me an email message, with your address, I'll share with you some recent information I've uncovered on the Knemeyers, Jacob's wife's family.
