I didn't know Harvey until I came on board at his dive shop in 1987. However I have heard of his hard work to make possible some of the finest suits, etc. in the Diving industry worldwide. I am so pleased to have gotten to know Harvey during the 15 years I worked at Harvey's Skindiving, Inc.
He would often come through the plant, sharing the "projects" he was working on, like Seafair, & later on, he would just visit us & bring vegetables to us from his garden. Also, I would run into him & Wilma often at Fred Meyer at Midway, where we all shopped. He was always friendly & wore a smile.
He was a precious person & I will miss him! My sincerest sympathy to Larry , Marti & family, & to Riva & Duane. You're all in my thoughts & prayers for your loss.

Harvey & I graduated from Franklin High School in Portland,OR.in 1941.
I lost contact with Harvey when he moved to Seattle & when I was transferred up here we once again
resumed our friendship.I talked to him often--the last time 3 weeks ago.WE were making plans to visit a
former H.S. friend (Wes Wills).His
love of his fellow man was obvious
and I feel blessed to have been known as a friend. He will be missed
by all those he has touched in his time with us.My thoughts and prayers to his family.
