Henry was indeed a very unique individual. Extremely competitive and never stopped being a salesman for RAC. I was always in awe at how he got things done! I learned a lot from Henry in my years at RAC, my flying and sales skills were greatly improved just being around him. He was also a very devoted father and husband and was always talking about his family. I think of Henry and RAC often as being one of the best experiences of my life.

Many thanks to the McKay Family for treating us to such a nice tribute to Henry McKay's legacy. Jeff opened the service with an articulate summery of Mac's amazing life with the trials and tribulations of his work and family, then Jim gave a "what we learned from our Dad" perspective of growing up with "the cool McKay", them Robert validated everything with photos to prove that their Dad really was this "cool" amazing person, and then Jerry almost loosing it with heart felt emotion, which we all cheered on and identified with. We all wanted "to loose" it and have a good cry, because Mac was just that kind of person that sneaks under everyone's skin with that charm and insight into your life and then wraps himself around your heart and stays there for a very very long time. We all miss him already.

Henry McKay was a "one of a kind". I've never in my whole life met a person with his personality. Even if you just met him, he would make you think it was many years ago and you were still the best of friends. What a guy!! We will all miss him very much. In all the years I've known Henry he never said a bad word about anyone, it was always positive! Henry was our Vice President of Marketing, and Chief Test Pilot. He was the best representative Robertson Aircraft ever had. He covered the globe many times and he probably had over a million miles in the air. Henry was the "spark" that ignited the success of the company. I've known Henry and his family for over 45 years. Our prayers and loving wishes go to his family. I will miss him very much!

Didn't know Mac, but I do know 2 of his sons. These 2 guys are great role models and folks that are worth emulating.I am pretty sure they developed their great character from watching their father. My prayers are for them and their families at this time of loss.
