I have so many memories, Dad. I used to sit in your work truck and listen to sports on the radio as well as sitting on the bench in your workroom. You gave me my love of sports and you read every sports article I wrote in The Daily World for the nine years I worked there. You put up with all kinds of animals from turtles and Old Curl in Burlingame to Binky in Seattle, even letting him take over your workroom for awhile. You loved, loved, loved your grandchildren and did so many things for them. You made us laugh when we were upset and did so many funny things with our uncles, Evan and Jimmy, like running around the house in my plastic headbands and driving Grandma's car to Westwood with Uncle Evan in the front and all of my cousins in the back (to get ice cream). I will never forget you, Dad, and the joy you brought me. Love, Cindy

I worked under Herb's direction for several years while at General Electric Installation & Service Engineering in the Tukwila/South Center area. He was an inspiration to me and a business roll model for my later years in business. A true Gentleman, a Gentle Man and a kind person.
May God bless him. Herb will be remembered by me.
