Isabel Hamilton Obituary

Isabel (Beth) R. HAMILTON Passed away Dec. 18, 2002 at her home in Seattle, surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 1, 1921, the middle daughter of Arthur A. and Hazel Crawford, she graduated from Boston University. She joined the army in 1943 and served as a physical therapist. She met LT. J. G. Robert M. Hamilton and they were married October 29, 1944. She was the loving mother of three daughters, Jeanne, Chris and Robin. She loved sports, was adventurious, gregarious and got along with everyone. She was an avid gardener and played bridge with finesse. She had enormous heart, a gentle person who stood up for what she believed in. Survived by her loving husband, Robert M. Hamilton (Commander Retired). Daughters; Jeanne Hamilton (David) Troast, Nancy Christine (Douglas) Bailey, Robin Hamilton (Jay) Brodt. Brothers; Arthur Chandler (Catharine) Crawford and Douglas Robert (Shirley) Crawford. Grandchildren; Christine M. Alderson, Jennifer L. Raby, John Christopher Raby, Jessica Bree Bailey, Eion Francis Hamilton Bailey, Raewyn Kendra Bailey, Keegan William Chandler Bailey and James Riley Millegan. Preceded in death by mother and father Arthur and Hazel Crawford. A Celebration of her life will be held, Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the Bonney-Watson Parker Chapel, 900 - S.W. 146th, Burien, WA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Swedish Hospice, 5701 - 6th Ave. S, Ste. 504, Seattle, 98108.
