James Joseph ENNIS Jr. Born March 26, 1935 in Seattle Washington Died May 21, 2003 in Port Orchard, Washington after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by mother, Ann E. Ennis. Wife Catherine Davis Ennis, Daughter Robin Ennis Cantwell (Frank), Daughter Suzanne Ennis, Son James Joseph Ennis 11,(Tisbury). Four grandchildren, one stepgrandchild. Two sisters; Antonia Slater (Bert), Molly Stubrud (Richard) and Brother, Terry Ennis (Fran), and other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his father Jim Ennis and sister Roseanne Mullen. At his request no funeral will be held. Remembrances may be made to Kitsap County Hospice or The American Cancer Society.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Please accept my heart felt condolences. Jim and I, along with many others, survived the strike of 1977. I left teaching after that but never forgot Jim and the example he set. God Bless!
