Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation's compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain love for one another. --Erma Bombeck
James spent 24 years sharing his patience, love of children, and desire to create a better place for our children. He committed, enjoyed and loved being at the school. His only payment a cup of coffee whenever he wished and doughnut every once in a while. And most important to him the reward of a child's smile when he or she was able to do something new. We will miss James spirit, loving care of the children, and love of his family. He was one of a kind but I really wish that we had more like him in our daily lives. Thank you Anne, Diane, and Simeon for sharing your wonderful father with us! Such a treasure!

On behalf of your family and friends in Michigan, we wish you strength in one another during this sad time. We will miss our Uncle's kind heart and loving ways. Although our visits were limited, we enjoyed every minute with Uncle Jimmy and our Seattle family. We will forever cherish the memories and we are grateful for every minute that we got to spend with Uncle Jimmy. To Aunt Ann, Diane, Simeon, Terri and Cassie; we love you and our prayers are with you always. Stay strong.

There is never a right time to say goodbye to a love one, especially a parent. Uncle Jimmy lived a great life and contributed much to this world, his living has not been in vain. God is good and his mercy is everlasting and we must remember sorrow comes in the nite but joy comes in the morning. Love you all Jorji
