I have known Jim for many years. We worked together at the Seattle PI and Seattle Times. We enjoyed many fishing trips together. He was a great friend and he will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to his wife Kathy and his two sons. Rest in Peace my friend.

I have known Jim and Kathy for all my life. When I was born my parents bought their house in Bellevue, they in turn bought the house across the street. I grew up off and on the street for 48 years. Jim, was/is an amazing man. He was there for me, for my father and for my family many times. He loved his wife and family and in turn we loved him. Many times of laughing, crying and yes there were times of arguing. But in the long run I never stopped loving this man, and friend. May you be watching us from above. As my dad use to say " See you at the House". See you at the house my friend. Kathy you are an amazing woman, wife, mother and grandmother. I love you and wish that I could be there with you in this time. Please know I am with you in though and my prayers go out to you, Jim Jr, and Mark. Love you all. Debbie Bailey ( Hendricks)
