I will always remember John as an excellent mentor during his times both as Regional VP West Region and in the new Sales Development role. I then became UA S.F. Sales manager for a half dozen years. He left UA and I left UA, both for better positions in differing forms of the travel industry. Over the years we both kept in contact. I met with him in Seattle several times and he stopped by when he last visited in Pebble Beach.
He was always full of laughter, humor, positive, enjoying life. I thought of John often sending him an email just a few weeks ago, not knowing his personal situation. He was a 'good man' and being remembered as a successful, jovial personality! God Bless!

John was a longtime friend and business associate at UAL. Over the years , I succeeded him twice in positions as he moved upward and onward. And later, He succeeded me in SFO. Smart man, with a hearty laugh. On the golf course, we were both pretty equal......not very good. :) God Bless you my friend.
