John Zallocco Obituary

John H. ZALLOCCO 75, of Renton, passed away at home on March 30, 2011. He was born in Seattle on September 29, 1935 to Venanzil and Nazarena Zallocco. John graduated from O'Dea High School in 1953. After which he joined the United States Army, proudly serving his country on active duty from 1953 to 1956 and in the reserves until 1961. Then in October 1963 he married the love of his life, Elsie (Mumby), they shared 38 years together and raised two loving children. John worked for Paccar for 25 years and worked for Boeing for 15 years before his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, going on walks and visiting family. Most of all he will be remembered for his organization and handy-man skills. He could fix anything and when his projects were complete all the items were neatly put away. John was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie, brother, Ronald Zallocco, and sisters, Della Monore and Antoinette Travelstead, he is survived by his daughter Donna (Mike Smith) Zallocco, son, Tony Zallocco, sisters, Eleanor Hagaman and Marianne Evakovich and numerous nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton, WA.
