Jose' Shdo Obituary
Jose' Gabriel Shdo of Renton died December 28, 2014. Jose' was born February 1, 1931 in Recife, Brazil and moved to America at the age of 15. He attended Queen Anne High School and was awarded his BS and MS from the UW and his PhD from WSU in organic chemistry. He worked in propulsion at China Lake Naval Air Weapons Center and became a propellant expert. Later, he joined Boeing's Aerospace division working on projects partnering with the Navy, Air Force and NASA. Jose' was an avid skier and hiker and an accomplished classical guitar player who built his own guitar. As a Korean War veteran he served his country overseas and was also the Army's west coast diving champion. He is survived by his wife Sally of 58 years, two daughters Camille Helland of Granite Bay, CA and Janine Kunz of Bellevue, three granddaughters, three great grand children, two brothers and two sisters. He will be sorely missed. Celebration of life January 10, at Noon at Foster Golf Links Ballroom, 13500 Interurban Avenue, Tukwila. Remembrances to Northwest Parkinson's Foundation.

I remember Jose on the IUS program at Boeing. My sincere prayers and sympathies for his family, he will be greatly missed.
