Mr. Lemieux taught me so much about grammar and to love
Shakespeare. He was the best and most thorough English teacher I ever had.

I have fond memories of Mr Lemieux back in the 1970's when I was a teenager and visited the family from time to time. He was a warm, friendly father to his kids--but kept a "tight ship". As a visitor, I couldn't get away with anything that the kids were not allowed to do! It made me feel loved and included. I am sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good man.

I have a very fond memory of Mr. Lemieux. He was fairly tall and kids would joke about the weather up around his head. One day a fellow classmate said to him, "How's the weather up there?" He snatched the kid by the shoulders and raised him up saying "come on up and see for yourself!" I'll never forget the look on that kids face. Priceless!
Guys like Mr. Lemieux are always loved and he will be missed. RIP!

Mr. Lemieux taught me English in Jr. High many years ago. He actually diagrammed sentences with us, and gave me skills that helped me excel in my life and career all these years. He respected us, he respected himself, and he was a class act; one of my favorite teachers of all time. RIP Mr. Lemieux. -
