Kathy and I worked together many times meeting with legislators from King Co. Bill was a wonderful advocate too. They were always involved in good and meaningful activities for Kari. I miss her and Bill.

I think about Kathy and Bill very often. THey were two leaders in our state for advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities. THey were also good friends. THey were also always engaged in good work.

Kathy and I met at a Skandia beginners dance class in 1959 - my first brush with folkdancing and, I believe, Kathy's also. She had a bright eyed bubbly way about her that drew me to her and continued to draw me for a lifetime. She was a wonderful giving person, one I was proud to call my friend.

Kathy was a fantastic human being who was a very positive role model for me and was a part of many, many family gatherings and activities for us. I am quite sure she pulled us all to a higher level of living and love! Her impact not just on me personally but on the planet will endure and grow. Kathy, may your memory be a blessing.

Kathy, and Bill too, are two of my all-time favorite people. They were active, smart, and helpful, real humanists.
