Wow..! 4 years have passed and I was talking with another friend last week about performance cars and I mentioned his name. Gone too soon my friend, but not forgotten...!

My condolences to you and your family. Dennis was such a kind and gentle person who was always very interesting to talk with. I always enjoyed it. He was a certified car nut through and through, which is how we connected. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace.

Dennis you probably watched over us at your celebration of life yesterday. We hope you had a big smile on your face. It was touching to hear how many colleagues, friends, relatives and students have fond memories of you. You left a huge impact on many and will be dearly missed. May peace be with you.

Condolences to the Wu family. I knew Dennis from working at the phone company, and playing volleyball. He was a very formidable opponent, and a great teammate. In our conversations we discovered we both had a strong love and appreciation for performance cars. His AC Cobra was my ultimate fantasy car, and we had great discussions about that and his fantasy car the Lotus. He was a good man, a great friend and will be deeply missed.

Dennis will be missed.
I knew Dennis as a friend and I worked with him at US West. He was a kind and enthusiastic person. He helped me with setting up a bicycle, skiing and photography. We kept in touch occasionally through the Accounting luncheon. I saw him on the street downtown just before he started the Executive MBA program. He was so happy and full of enthusiasm with the prospects. It is how I will always remember him, with a fiery passion for life.

Dennis will be greatly missed
He had the rare combination of intelligence, common sense and was very knowledgeable about a wide range of issues.
If you had any questions regarding what car, photographic equipment or stereo equipment to buy you would talk to Dennis.
He was always helpful and you knew if Dennis said it then he had done his home work regarding the product and he was speaking from his research of the product.

I, too, played volleyball with Dennis in the phone company league and for a season in the architects' league at Green Lake. Dennis was a perfectionist player and left-handed, which made him hard to defend. He was smart, always fully engaged in what he was doing, and a nice guy.

I had the privilege of working with Dennis as a TA at South Seattle College. His love and passion for each student was clear to anyone who took one of his classes. His legacy will carry on thru all of us.

Dennis and I worked together for several years while he was the accounting witness for depreciation issues. Dennis maneuvered through regulatory mine fields of interrogatories, testimony, and hearings with style, grace, and compassion for those around him. He was truly a joy to work with and will be greatly missed.
He often quoted Yogi Berra so I'll end with the same.
If you come to a fork in the road take it. Yogi Berra
Rest in peace my friend.

It is hard to look at his photo and not expect to see him putting his briefcase in the back of his car...

Back in 4 years ago, I was sitting in Mr.Wu's first class at South Seattle College. He taught me Math 116, and he was my private tutor for accounting. And now, Mr.Wu, all of your emails and 2 recommendation letters are what I have about you. I was going to ask you for another one; however, it is too late. I am shocked- extremely shocked to hear that you are no longer with us. South Seattle College is now missing a picture of a man who wore a hat on his head, pulling his luggage and walking from this building to another building. REST IN PIECE Mr.Wu. Until we meet again.

I admired Dennis' passion for photography and enjoyed seeing some of his images in his home. I also appreciated his humor and reliability as a good neighbor. I could see how much went into his teaching, as a teacher myself. This is a loss but I am grateful to have known Dennis. Hugs and love to Pamela and family.

I taught with Dennis at North Seattle College before he moved to South Seattle College. I was inspired by Dennis's dedication to his students and his willingness to do whatever he could to help them learn. He was also eager to help to his fellow teachers by sharing teaching methods and insights and leading discussions on how we could improve serving our students. His passion for teaching and for his students shown though by his daily actions.
I will miss him.

I remember our family visiting in Coos Bay. i'm guessing I was in the 4th grade. We were clam digging and Dennis and I didn't notice the water sneaking in from behind us. I told Dennis, I think we have a slight problem, The water was too deep to cross. I can't remember how we got out, but I remember walking a ways to find a path out. We must have waded thru some water to get to safety. I don't remember losing any clams.
