To Laurie's husband and children, family and friends,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Though I only "met" Laurie through email updates from her family, she inspired me. I am sending you all warmth and bear hugs. Hoping you can feel them, today and going forward.

To the Fall family, my heart has ached for you from the moment I learned that Laurie was facing cancer. I look at all these pictures of her now, those taken before and during her treatment and I marvel at the fact that she remained so full of life and joy through it all. The true measure of her courage and humanity must have come through as she faced her battle head-on. When I swam with Laurie and Andrea at Lakeside, and they came back from Maui every year so tan and happy, they always brought with them light and laughter to every situation. I know that your family will carry on her beautiful memory for her children so that they may know what a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and friend she was. Life seems so unfair sometimes--this is most definitely one of those times. Sending you love, support, courage and grace...just like Laurie had in spades.

Seeing Laurie at school and in the grocery store, you would never know she was battling cancer. She always smiled each time I saw her. Praying for the family to find some peace in knowing Laurie will no longer suffer. All the families at Lawton would love to help in anyway that is needed. We will knock on the door and welcome Isabella back on the Walking School Bus when she is ready.

Laurie fought hard all the way to the very end. It was inspiring to see her courage and positive, upbeat the entire time. She never lost hope. She will be very much missed. This is a beautiful picture of her. What a lovely way to remember her.

I was one of the nurses that took care of Isabella when she was in the hospital. I will never forget how attentive and devoted Laurie was to her daughter's care. As a mother to 3 small children similar ages as Laurie's my heart just aches for your family. I hope the children will remember their mother forever. Again I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

Laurie, I did not get a chance to meet you but I know you will be greatly missed. I am a friend of Melissa's who I am sure is heart broken. I do know you were surrounded with love and the people who survive you will bless your babies with all of the love , kindness and support you hoped for. I believe as an angel you will give even greater love and protection to the ones you love than you could have on earth. You will grant wishes and the stars will illuminate all of the magic and love you touched this world with while you were here. You are so beautiful rest in peace and I will pray those who survive you will be feel comfort and peace. xo Im posting a picture of Honey which was my grandma's nickname... I wish for her to welcome you to heaven with big hugs

I am so sad to hear of Laurie's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and twin, Andrea. I still have fond vivid memories of spending time together as a foursome after school at University Prep, me, my twin Molina, Laurie and her twin Andrea. Back then it seemed like we had all the time in the world. Laurie's life was cut way too short. Lots of love and prayers for her family. We will always remember her and miss her light in the world.

I knew Laurie through my daughter, Molly, while they were in school and later when they were roommates. She was a dynamic and energetic being, warm and friendly - and you simply couldn't NOT enjoy her. I was heartsick for her when she became ill, and I am heartbroken for her husband and children and family now. She and you are in my thoughts. With love, Meg Brown

Isabella, Miles and Clara,
Your Mama lives on in your hearts, in the arms of your family and in each other.
Wherever she is, she loves you still. Always remember what her love felt like. Cherish the sweet memories you made together. Find her in stories, in gardens, in bicycle rides, in beautiful clothing and fancy shoes.
Never forget that you were her favorite.
My heart and arms are always open to you.
