Lou is one of my greatest mentors! The "applied" teachings work for any human being! I love Lou and Diane Tice for who they genuinely are and were together in my life! Thank you Lou always for helping me to change the way I think, that led to behavioral changes for the reaping of new, desired, "positive" end results! You shall live forever through the many lives your teachings continue to touch!

Bob Moawad started out working for Lou, went out on his own to create a kids curriculum like IIE called "Unlocking Your Potential", and then an adult one called IHE. Both which I taught for years. Finally I was introduced to Lou, the origin of much of this life changing, transformational material. I then taught his IIE for years. Wow! What a blessing both Lou and Bob have been to us all. Now they have gone on before us, but we are so much better for having known them.

A great man and great mentor to me, even if most of it was from video and audio tapes and books notes. Books upon books of journals and affirmations down the track now; "saved" my life back then. Had the pleasure to meet Lou and Dianne in person at a facilitators conference in Melbourne Australia in the mid 1990's. I always remember I shook Lou's hand and felt a physical buzz through my arm, like a pleasant electrical pulse, and was never able to explain that, except that it was maybe for the fact he had helped so many people over time. God bless you Lou, I was listening to your audio tapes today from one of the courses I attended, after a long break, and it has reignited everything, I needed it and was looking for it. Thank you again.

Went to an awesome Celebration of Life last week. Lou Tice, well respected and honored man of Christ passed away recently. Someone I knew over 35 years ago who had a profound affect on my life in my younger days. I had filed away in the back of my mind some his beliefs and visions and principles and they came flooding back to the front. Lou Tice was and always will be an amazing man with an amazing legacy. The people he touched, the worlds he changed, the love he shared and the humbleness he exibited. WOW! I can't say enough of the man. The world has lost a great human being and humanitarian...and heaven's gained another Angel of God. Rest in peace, Lou. God Bless you and your family.

Dear Diane and family,
Lou's positive influence changed many people's lives for the better, including mine. He was a mesmerizing speaker - I attended his program a couple of different times. I also appreciated his support of Catholic education. Even though I haven't seen Lou for many years, I still think of him and I remember what he believed in and what he taught. May you be comforted by your faith, family, and friends. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My husband and I were saddened to hear of Lou's passing. He and Diane go way back in their friendship with my parents, Bob and Gloria Sealey. I remember as a child visiting the Tice family in their home in Normandy Park.I believe they had a leak in their roof and my dad went to see if he could fix it..I remember a lot of happy kids running around in their home. Through the years Lou and my father worked together at Highline, my dad was principal and Lou was a teacher and coach and they would get into tiffs and my dad would tellLou that he was fired and Lou would say "you can't fire me cuz I quit!" that happened about every other month! :) Lou went on to
Kennedy high and dad missed him, but was happy for Lou as well.
over the years they remained great friends and after dad retired from his superentendency Dad worked with Lou and the late Lee Bussard to develop a program for disabled and handicapped people to reach their full potential by applying the Pacific Instiute concepts. Mother and dad went on to lead seminars for the Pemco Insurance employees and evergreen Bank team members.
Mother really lived by affirmations she learned and had many positive affirmations taped to the inside of her makeup cabinet. Lou's words were her daily devotions.....
The Tices were both so loving and caring friends, always inviting our whole family to their beautiful home on lake Washington for many Christmas and summer carnival celebrations , which our children thoroughly enjoyed. mother and dad also spent wonderful vacations at the eastern Washinton Tice ranch... Mother enjoyed the beautifully decorated guest rooms and the the long walks with Diane, while dad and Lou did their thing.
When dad became I'll, Lou was keeping dad's spirits up with dinners at the lake house or at Angelos. when mother was I'll, Diane would stop by for lunch or for a visit while on the way to or from her grandchildren's soccer games...friends till the very end I must say.
Lou was truly given many gifts from God and he spent many years sharing them with thousands of people. Lou's positive and giving nature will be carried on by every one of the people he touched.
As I write this there are so many gifts Lou and Diane gave my parents, including letting us use their wonderful condo on Alki for mother and dad's 40th anniversary..Then the greatest gift of all I think was on that last summer of dad's life, dad was too week to drive over to our family's cabin on eight mile island in northern Idaho, so Lou and Diane flew mother and dad in their helicopter to Priest lake so dad could enjoy one last beautiful week there.
These are just small highlights as to how wonderful a man Lou was...We will forever be thankful for his friendship, kindness and generosity with my parents. I know that Lou and dad and mother are all in God's heavenly kingdom, sharing their gifts forever....
Our love and prayers go out to the entire Tice family... Linda Sealey-Burgess and family

Louie was the kind of friend we all wanted, a real inspiration and someone who would go out of his way to lend a helping hand. I remember how Louie welcomed me to the West Seattle football team when I tried out in my senior year, and how he made sure the rest of the team accepted me as a teammate. Louie certainly deserved all the success he has achieved, and he will truly be missed.

During Lou Tice's 13 years as teacher and coach at Highline High School, in Burien, WA, he was a recognized mentor and positive force in the lives of thousands of Highline's students. The 1962-63 Pirates' Log Annual was dedicated to Lou, a beloved teacher, mentor, football and wrestling coach, club advisor and friend. In its dedication, the Pirates' Log recorded his impact on the school.
"Since his arrival aboard ship four years ago, Mr. Tice invariably has inspired the students of Highline. His unceasing desire to help Highline have school unity has aided in creating greater student interest and fuller participation in school functions. . . . Because of his constant interest in and his work with the students of Highline and the resulting respect they have for him, the Pirates would like to give Mr. Tice a 'twenty-one gun salute'."
The late Mr. Robert Sealey, then principal of Highline High School, highly respected educator, and one of Lou's close friends and supporters, went on to join Lou and Diane following the creation of The Pacific Institute in many successful initiatives.
Lou made a significant and positive impact on the lives of thousands of Highline graduates who have gone on to do many wonderful things.
Here's another 'twenty-one gun salute' to you, Lou. Thank you for everything!

I was privileged to meet Lou on a number of occasions and teach his materials at Boeing, during the last years of my career there. His "Investment in Excellence" teaching and that of his early partner Bob Moawad "Increasing Human Effectiveness" have done more to influence the culture at Boeing than anything else I experienced in my 32 years there. They have both now taken the "ultimate upgrade" and will be sorrowfully missed, but what a great place to spend this Easter together.
