Lucille Johnson Obituary

Lucille D JOHNSON Age 92. Born in Chicago on March 13, 1920. Passed away peacefully on March 31, 2012, surrounded by family and close friends and under the compassionate care of Norse Home staff. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Fred G. Johnson, her son Grant Johnson, her parents Felix and Jean Del Greco, who emigrated from Italy and Scotland respectively to Chicago, her brother Robert Del Greco, and her nephew Robert Del Greco. She is survived by her sister Betty Peroni of Chicago, her daughter Barbara Lopuszynski (Michael) of Langley, her grandchildren Jessyn Farrell (Timothy) of Seattle and Benjamin Staulcup (January Colacurcio) of Seattle, her great grandchildren Frances and Leo Staulcup and Emaline and John Farrell, her nephew Robert Peroni of Austin, Texas, her niece Jean Wersching (Jack) of Chicago, and her great nieces Tiffany and Valerie Wersching of Chicago. Her husband Fred was an American Airlines captain and she loved to travel with him throughout the world. She will be remembered as the most fun and devoted mother and grandmother, as well as beloved sister, aunt and friend. Thirty years ago, after Fred passed away, she left the comfort of home and family in Chicago to come to Seattle to help raise her grandchildren. Now her great grandchildren are also blessed to have known her. Remembrances may be made to Seattle Children's Hospital.
