“The Mom”
Setting up a swimming pool in the summer, each year bigger and better!
Hanging out on the deck and laughing.
Mom would spray the patio in front of the house with the hose and pour buckets of water on it and we would ice skate, it was so fun!
I remember her talent at making candles out in the garage, I still have a wise man she made.
She would take us to Remlingers and we’d pick strawberries and fill the kitchen with strawberry jam and pie.
She loved animals, especially dogs and had several over the years, Laddie, Morris, Gabriel, and Murphy.
She talked fondly of her travels to the Carribean, and to Mexico, Canada, Alaska, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
My mother was generous and I believe truly desired to be a good person and now is at peace.
She told me before she died how she loved her girls Judy, Susan and Kathy and said she could not have done it without them.
A love and compassion was deeply felt by her and that speaks of the love and compassion she was given.
Thank you, thank you for caring for her and loving her,
Kim
