Marvin Coe Obituary
3/4/1933 ~ 1/17/2016
Graduate of Franklin H.S., attended University of Washington. Married Lore (Wolf) of Boise, Idaho in 1954. Children: Gregory, Robert (Denise), Nina Barnett; Grandchildren: Shayna (Patrick), David (Amy), Whitney (Demetri), Adam (Lotem), and Brian. Great-Grandchildren: Tegan and Cruise. Served in U.S. Army during Korean Conflict. Worked in wholesale clothing traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest. Moved to Port Orchard after purchasing retail store in 1978. Moved back to Bellevue to be closer to family in 2002, worked for T.W. Carrol of Tukwila. Member of Herzl Ner Tamid Congregation, served as president of Overlake B'nai B'rith, Downtown Port Orchard Merchants Assoc., Port Orchard Rotary and P.O. Chamber of Commerce. Was chosen as Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year in 1987. Memorial donations may be made to N.W. Parkinson's Foundation, Herzl Ner Tamid, City of Hope, Medic One or charity of choice.
