Maurice Watson Obituary

Maurice Lyman WATSON Born December 23, 1929 in Seattle, WA. Died April 25, 2006 in Kirkland. Loving father of Gerry Watson and his wife, Marjie, Diane Cohrt, and her husband, Gary, Don Watson and his wife, Angela, and Connie Watson, and her loving partner, Steve Anderson grandfather of Shani, Delisa, Sofie, Jeremy, Zachary, Devin (whom he helped raise like his own son), Allie, Addi, Jacob, and Audrey; great-grandfather of Alexandria and Gabriella. Also survived by his sister, Connie Combs and an extended family. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Watson. Maurice grew up in Seattle, graduated from St. John's grade school and Seattle Prep High School. He worked for the family millwork shop, then joined the Seattle Police Department, and later became an independent glazer. Maurice had a passion for motorcycle riding, trout fishing, and making bird houses. Recitation of the Rosary will be Monday, May 1st, at 11:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m., BOTH at Holy Family Church, 7355 120th Ave. NE, Kirkland, WA. Interment, Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue. Hoffner Fisher & Harvey
