I went to school with Mike at Issaquah. He was a good guy then and always will be. It's a small world to see how close we lived and yet are pathes did not cross in the later years. My sympathy and prayers go to his family and friends.

I did not know Michael...but I worked with and for Becky and Jackie at ARA. Knowing the caliber of people that they are, I know that Michael was a beautiful, personable, caring and loving person, both inside and out. My heart breaks for the families loss! May your love and memories help lessen the pain until it is bearable...God bless you and keep you in his care until you all meet again! Girls, know that your special "Daddy" guardian angel will ALWAYS be there with you. The loss is great...I know personally...but you are so lucky to have a father that loved you so dearly, as I am sure he did! Hang tight to those memories that will sustain you through both good times and bad...my sincerest condolences.

I will always remember coming to the soccer games..sometimes running late..and waving to Michael. I will always remember him and my dad (Ron) both yelling and rooting both Tiff and I on. He was a great team dad and a great person in general. Every fall, when I pass that soccer ball, when I attend a practice or a game..I will especially remember him and his loud, loud screams of joy, or pats of congrats. for our win or our loss. I will also remember him sitting on the sidelines during me and Tiffs basketball games..but I will always remember those days he rooted me on, when my parents couldn't make that one game.

I have so many wonderful memories of Michael, I don't know where to begin. We became friends during the early years of soccer with the girls, Tiffany and Maggie. The team was the Rockets and they didn't win for years- I mean YEARS! But Michael was always there, no matter what, cheering on the sidelines like they had the winning goal coming any minute! Greg and I always enjoyed hearing about the ski trips that Becky and Michael took and their love was obvious to all. Michael loved hearing Greg's stories about fishing and when Greg was in Alaska, Michael would be the first one at the game to ask how things were going. He was always engaged and concerned. The whole family was an example to the rest of us how we'd like to be. Becky, you were there for me many times and I will be here for you and your family. I am so sorry for this tragedy. A broken heart mends very slowly. But wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories. All our love, Sharon, Greg and Maggie Elwood
