I still think about Mike all the time, especially during this time of year which marks the anniversary of his passing on Christmas eve. Still hard to believe his life was cut so short. I keep thinking of all the things we did, and the experiences we had together. Those memories are forever etched in my mind, and remain as vivid today as the day they were created. He had a big impact on my life, and I will always be thankful for our years of friendship.

Mike was the best. I still think of him often, I was one of his sisters-in-law. I know how much everyone loved him and still does. He was a friend to all.

Just learned of Mike's passing (or Gurnett as we referred to him at Ballinger Lake Golf Course). The "Gurnett Group" led by Mike has been a fixture at our golf course for sometime. He was a trooper, always wanting to be with the guys as much as possible at their Wednesday golf outings. Our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.....Carol & Tyrone Hardy & The Staff @ Ballinger Lake Golf Course

It has been a little over a month since we lost Mike and not a day goes by that I don't think about & miss him. I have a picture of him and a couple other co-works that have left us for a better place in my office. I think how lucky I am to be able to write this. I hope that all of you are doing well and adjusting as time permits. Just remember the good times you all had together, I have found in the past that to be helpful with the hurt, as well as helps with the healing. Here is for continued healing, and so you know I am still thinking of all of you!
Love you Mike, you were and still are a dear friend & co-worker and will always be missed!!

Attending Mike's memorial today and seeing and hearing his family, friends and co-workers speak of his loving, caring and good humor made us recall how fortunate we were to have known him. Our heart felt sympathy in your sorrow.

Mike will be greatly missed by family and friends we are sure. He was a great guy and friend and hunting and golfing and baseball player. Have known Mike since early baseball seasons when we were kids. Michael McIntyre (Lynnwood, Wa.)

Mike & I first met & bonded while 15 year old sophomores at Nathan Hale high school. That deep friendship lasted for the next 45 years.
I will always smile when I think about the good times we had together, and feel sad that we won't be able to continue those in the future.
He loved his family and the wide range of friends he made over his too short lifetime.
He always created a buzz of excitement when among his friends, always laughing, joking, and just being Mike.
He leaves a huge void in the lives of his family & friends and we will all miss him the rest of our days.
I love ya man!

Mike was a good friend. Enjoyed playing football, laughing, and drinking beer with Mike many a time. He was a classmate of my brother Bob's at Nathan Hale, but we became good friends in the years after. A good athlete, he loved to compete. I regret I didn't see more of Mike in the last few years. Goodbye Mike, see you in Heaven where we'll do it all over again.

It is sad that Michaels life was cut short, although he always lived life to the fullest and those who knew him were better for it. My remembances of him were mostly from Nathan Hale High School, although we did have an opportunity to talk in length at the 40 year reunion party. He obviously was a very happy Man with a
full enriched life. My prayers and thoughts go out to all his Family and Friends.

Well, here is another relative I never got to see or meet but heard so much about him. Even though I never met ya nor knew you it still hurts to hear of your passing. My heart and prays go out to your family and loved ones. May God Bless you, for I know he is gonna keep ya.
