A bright man and critical thinker, Mike was also a person of humility and tolerance who seemed to seek the best in all with whom he came in contact. Condolences to Mike's family and neighbors.

Mike was a wonderful person and he will be missed by many. Our deepest sympathy to you. I will miss Mike passing by and offering his favorable comments on the gardens, his smile. I feel lucky that I was a small part of his day to day routine these last years. May happy memories find you and help you all along and may they offer peace. Mike was loved, what greater a blessing could he have had? He will be missed. Know you all are loved and being thought of and if there is anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to let us know. Love, Cathy Aldrich and Mike Harris

I enjoyed and appreciated knowing Mike through his work in Paramount Park Neighborhood Group over the years. He was also a good neighbor who I would encounter occasionally on his walks. A gentle soul always good for a long conversation and very proud of his kids. One day I saw him look down at the neighbor's dog he was walking, smile and pat his chest as if to say, "Come on jump up!" Mike was the kind of guy you want in your neighborhood. I will miss his presence in ours.
