I only had a short time in which to get to know Mike but am thankful for every moment. During most of the time I did know him it was in his last days but I have never seen someone with such happiness in his eyes sometimes; and to have the presence he did up until the last is a true evidence to the substantial character that is Mike. The genuinely lovely people that he has left behind are testament to this as well. Jane you are loved ever still and we may not be able to bring the miracles we want sometimes but hopefully us as friends and your family members can open a few windows and bring you continued happiness. You both are in my thoughts constant and thank you so very much for the time I've had with you both, it has changed my life <3.

Mike, I will miss you so, so much. You were a friend, a mentor, a teacher, and someone to look up to. I still think of all the stories you've shared with me, your crazy adventures and shenanigans! You were loved by a lot of people in this life. I'm happy that you are no longer in pain and have peace now. I know you'll be looking down on all of us with your big grin.
