Minnie H. BRIGGS In Loving Memory May 25th, 1917 ~ January 19th, 2008 Minnie slipped away peacefully at U of W Medical Center. Born near Quincy, WA to John Samuel & Alice (Griffin) Adams. Raised in Jonesville & Cle Elum, married Harold Briggs in 1936, moving to Seattle in 1937; purchasing a home in the Wallingford District near the U of W in 1944, where she continued to live until her passing. Her husband preceded Minnie in death in 1989. She is survived by her younger brother Marvin Adams (Eloise), her children Johnny Briggs (Diane); Carolyn Wartchow (James); 5 grand-children, 9 great-grand-children, and 8 great-great-grand-children. Minnie has been best described as a "treasure" of a woman with a generous spirit and a warm heart that was coupled with a big "zest" for life. Memorials suggested to "Medic One" or a charity of your choice.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
