Patricia Dickinson Obituary
Age 91, Renton, WA, passed away peacefully November 25, 2013.
Pat was born in Cimarron, New Mexico, April 11, 1922, the oldest daughter of the late Gertrude (Hoodie) Sitzberger and Edward F. Sitzberger. After graduating from Cimarron, NM High School, she attended nurses training in Denver, CO where she met her husband Bob. Pat was active in Scouting, PTA, CASA, and the Renton Senior Center. As a nurse she worked at Renton Hospital, Libby Foods, and King County Public Health. Pat lived in Washington over 60 years. Pat has been a faithful member of St. Anthony Catholic church since 1953.
Surviving are her children R. John Dickinson, Monument, CO, Barbara M. Burnett, Howard, CO, Patricia C. (Sande) Meinert, Enumclaw, WA, Thomas E. Dickinson, Kent, WA, and Nance A. Dickinson, Kirkland, WA and their families. Also surviving are sisters Marjory Martin, Cimarron NM, Joan Hart, Walnut Creek, CA, and brother Edward Sitzberger, Cimarron, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Dickinson and brother James Sitzberger, Cimarron NM. Pat cherished her seven grand-children, eight great-grandchildren and the numerous family members and friends who loved her.
A memorial Mass will be held Friday, Dec 13, 11 AM, St. Anthony Catholic Church, Renton.
Following Mass, a reception will be at Merrill Gardens, 104 Burnett Ave S, Renton from 12:00 - 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's name to the Renton Senior Center.
