From the first time I spoke with Paul on the phone he gave me a hard time. He asked me if my name was Nurse Ratchett. Then he met me in person. He looked me up and down and said, "Well, I didn't think you'd look this good!" Instantly, we were great friends! He gave me his books and I read them all. He made me smile every time I had the opportunity to see him. I will miss him immensely!

When I was a child the things you said made no sense to me but as I grew older they still didn't make sense but you were always kind and had a good heart. My family and I are grateful you were in our lives.

Paul, thanks for your Monday night companionship and wit over the years. I'll miss you.
I know we were never able to access your e-mail from a remote computer, but I'll bet the Internet always works and is always free where you are now, so maybe you see this.
