Paul George Rowe

Paul G. ROWE Paul George Rowe, 69, a resident of Seattle, WA passed on July 3, 2009. He was born on March 3, 1940, in Alton, Illinois to Paul F. and Dorothy Rowe. He is survived by his son, Jacque Rowe, of Seattle, WA; his daughter, Lena Rowe also of Seattle, WA; his two sisters, Barbara Lohr and her husband, David, of Tuscola, Ill and Cheryl Rowe Sieberg and her husband, Randy, of Columbia, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul F. and Dorothy Rowe. Paul moved to Seattle, WA in 1965.He met and married Janice Ericksson and had two children; a son, Jacque and daughter, Lena. Paul was a playwright, jazz musician, bookstore owner and writer. He had recently done extensive research into his family genealogy. He had discovered and located unknown members of his extended family in the Midwest and southern states. Paul had just returned from a two week trip to several of these states, where he visited family, and met with his newly found extended family. He had planned this trip for a very long time and returned refreshed, exhilarated and full of new stories about his adventures. Paul was a member and close friend of the congregation at Garden Church in Lake City. They will be holding a Memorial Service for Paul on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Seattle Mennonite Building in Lake City, 3120 NE 125th St., Seattle, WA 98125.
