Pete Bianchi Obituary

Pete BIANCHI 1921 ~ 2009 Pete passed away 9/15/09 in Las Vegas with his son and daughter at his side. In his younger days, he played semi- pro baseball and became a passionate Mariner's fan. He served in the Navy during World War II. Pete retired as a Captain of the Seattle Fire Depart ment in 1968. As an avid sports enthusiast, he began his golfing career at age 83 and made his hole-in- one at age 85. Pete was preceded in death by his wife Vera and 3 brothers, Domenic, Louis and John. Surviving members are daughter Charlean (Louis) Soreano, son Gary (Debbie) Bianchi; grandchildren, Shelly (Steve) Kohr, Scott (Christine) Vandersanden, Marc (Sherri) Bianchi, Nicole (David) Desvoigne, Ron (Lodi) Soreano, Tamara Soreano (Pete Aye); along with numerous great-grand children, nieces, nephews and friends. At his request there will be no services. Remembrances, Medic I or your favorite charity. We Love You and We Will Miss You Deeply.

Gary, I never knew anything about your father. Now that I have read about him,. . . what an amazing man he was in all that he did in his life. I am very sorry for your loss of such a great man. God bless him and keep him in his loving arms. I'm sure he is smiling down from heaven on you, Debbie and the rest of your family. Peace and love to you all.

My heart breaks for you at this very difficult time in your lives. I wish I met your father, he sounds like he was a WONDERFUL man! Rest assured that he is in the loving hands of God, and he suffers no more!!!!! God Bless you and your entire family.
