Quang Tam Obituary

Quang Tai LAM Quang Tai Lam was 81 years old when she passed away on November 26, 2002 in Seattle, Washington. She was a survivor of W.W. I, W.W. II, the Vietnam War and a voyage out of South Vietnam. She had lived a long life that was filled with love and kindness. She was born in China in 1921. She has two younger sisters, one in China and another, Nhu Tu Lam, in California. Her older brother lives in Kentucky Married to Hi Van for seventy-two (72) years, she has five children. Her oldest son, Le Van and his wife Vi Tran live in Portland, Oregon. Her older daughter, Lan Thanh Van and her husband Kok Vong, her second son, Scott (Hung) Van and his wife Jenny T. Van, her younger daughter, Monica Thanh-Ngoc (Muoi) Van and her husband Choy Vong, and her youngest son, Van Minh Lam and his wife Quyen Tu Lam, all live in Seattle. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Phong Lam, Cam Lam; Jennifer Vong, Joanna Vong, David Vong; Belina Van, Prosper Van; Veronica Vong, Victoria Vong, Linda Vong; Alexander Lam, Brian Lam and Cory Lam. Funeral Services will be held at Columbia Funeral Home on Sunday, December 1, 2002, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and on Monday December 2, 2002 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Quang Lam's final resting place will be at Acacia Cemetery in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. She will be honored as a woman of inner strengths and a mom of love and kindness.
