I can't think of a kinder person than Uncle Ralph. He was a great man and we will miss him dearly. Always smiling, always treating people like they mattered. A real gentlemen. He made the world a better place.

Ralph Eskenazi
was one of the nicest, helpful persons I ever met. It definitely was an honour to be accepted as his friend. I shall miss him very much. I am very saddened by his passing.

I met Ralph in 2001 while conducting research for my history of ski mountaineering in Washington state. I very much enjoyed meeting him and am sad to hear of his passing. I wrote a brief remembrance of Ralph on the local backcountry skiers' bulletin board. You can find it here:

My condolences and warm regards go out to his family and friends.
