Richard Lasher Obituary

Richard LASHER Richard H. Lasher was born on February 9, 1917 in McCluskey, North Dakota. He passed away on April 6, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Margaret (Sathra). Richard moved his family to Seattle in 1942 and worked for a short time as a longshoreman before getting a job at Boeing. After World War II he got a job with what is now Foremost Dairies and worked as a truck mechanic until retiring in 1979. He enjoyed camping, hunting, traveling and time with family and friends. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Richard is survived by his sister, Lillian Beyer and brother, Willard Lasher of Bottineau, ND and sister, Beulah Hoaglund of St. Paul Park, MN. He is also survived by his four sons, Richard K., Charles (Linette), David, and Thomas (Terry) as well and 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 30525 Eighth Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003 on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. A Reception will follow in the church hall.

Grandpa,

Sure will miss seeing you around the family parties and the times spent around the kichen island telling stories at mom and dads house. You'll be missed by many. Thanks for all the good times.

Richard was the most marvelous man I have ever known and I was gifted with the opportunity of being his daughter in law for 32 glorious years. Pa was never mad a day in his life. See you in Heaven Pa. I miss you dearly. Love Terry
