Parents are Pearl and James Mecartea. WWII Veteran US Army; Past Grand Master Washington Free & Accepted Masons; Member St. John's Lodge in Seattle. Married for 62 years to his wife Barbara until her death in 2009.
Survived by 2 sisters Mary and Janet; wife Ofelia; daughters Judith Munday (Lawrence) and Patricia Mecartea; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and relatives.
He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Services February 3, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Washington.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring.
