I was shocked to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. Words cannot express the sense of loss my family and I are currently experiencing and will forever. He was a person who really loved his family, all of his family! He always said I may not always like em but I love them! We were so fortunate to be guests at his dinner table where he would always sit at his spot and facilitate the family conversation. Our dinners could be really long, but we had so much fun that we didn't even notice at the time. Uncle Bob was extremely smart and had a wit about him that would make me laugh so hard I would be crying. Although,I was just his Brother's Daughter he made me feel like I was his Daughter. He treated all my children and my Husband the same way. I discovered something about him 3 years ago. This was when he sang at my Daughter's wedding. I was brought to tears by what a beautiful voice he had. I had known him all these years and never got to experience this. I will never forget that moment. Going to Auntie Jo and Uncle Bob's house has been a treat since I was a kid, and now at age 45 it still is. Bob and Joan are the most generous and loving people anyone could ever have the privelige of being around. Yes, the greatest compliment he could ever pay someone was that they were a straight shooter. He was the greatest one of them all. I will miss you and love you forever! "Litter Bug",
