I know you're off into the Sunset! God Speed!

Dear Bob, (Hofi, Lefty)
I am saddened to learn of your death. Not sure you knew, but you were probably my most regarded mentor. You taught me just about everything I know, in regards to export trade. Starting me out, chained to the TELEX machine, sending out quotes to the Orient, which had to be letter perfect, or they had to be done over completely ( no white out , or back space). Now, how things have changed. Just typing this note, it's all corrected for me. To this day I used metaphors you taught me. i.e. When ever we had a customer issue (freight damaged goods or what not) Bob would say "Well, we'll sell our way out of this one". And we always would, by selling more, however, at a discount, which was OK, as we did well, also. To this day, we do this. He taught me to keep a bound journal from each day. And still do to this day. ...Love you Bob, and God Bless You! And I will miss you.

Dear Karen:
I Read the obituary section in the Seattle Times this morning where Bob had made his transition. i remember all of the fun times we had together many, many years ago, and how Bob loved playing scrabble. He was always upbeat, interesting and fun. Unfortunately, we are all getting to that time in our lives where our transition is getting closer everyday.
The best to you and your family during these times of grief.
