To Maurine & Ken and their families:
The Service today was very special to all her friends who so loved you mother. She is a very special person who will long be remembered for her love and friendship of those she knew.
She and I shared a truely warm and loving friendship, she worried about me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was so happpy for me when I finished my chemo, as I was happy because I could then visit her again, there was a time I was too sick to see her but she kept tabs on me by calling Tom to see how I was doing. Even as her world was turning upside down she had time to worry about those she loves. I know she loved me as I did her, we never ended a call or visit without saying "I love you",
The day that Ken got married she was so thrilled as a couple of weeks later my son (a single Dad also), remarried, we'd sit and talk about our sons finally finding the happieness they deserved. We had a lot in common.
I know she is up there looking down on us and saying to us "I am at last at peace with the others that I love"
I will cling to the fond memories I have of the good times we had together, I pray you do the same...
Much Love Liz
