Ronald Rosie Obituary

Ronald Duncan ROSIE Ron, 72, passed away peacefully at his home on Mercer Island with his loving wife and family at his side on 06-25-07. Ron, a retired Coast Guard Captain was very active in local politics and the community. Services will be held on 07-01-07 at the United First Methodist Church of Bellevue at 3:00 p.m. Donations can be made to the Evergreen Freedom Foundation in Ron's memory.

Perhaps the best enduring legacy of a person in life is that they will missed when they go. Ron is one who will be missed. From our days at the Academy to our days at sea together on the USCGC Pontchartrain in Long Beach Ron will always be remembered.

Ron was always special to me, from our times at Pond House, our attempt to sail a dinghy and being at my right side on the football field.
May his soul rest in peace and wait patiently for us to catch up with him. His memory will be eternal for all of us in '57,
and '57 will take care of Millie.
