Roy Everett Wester

July 21, 1934 ~ October 19, 2017

Roy Everett Wester (83) of Westport, Washington died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of October 19, 2017. He was born to Lydia and Samuel Wester on July 21, 1934 in Crookston, Minnesota.

Roy attended Ballard High School of Seattle and joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1952 when he was honorably discharged after 5 years of service. He initiated with the UA Local 32 in January of 1960 and worked 30 years as a steamfitter later retiring his position as Field Superintendent for the Botting Heating and Plumbing Company at the age of 55.

He is survived by his brother, Ray Wester (Mary) and sister, Lois Albrecht and his children Elena Beth (Konrad Uri) and David (Kristi) and four grandchildren, Luke, Alexa, Kristen and Kaitlin as well as his lifelong friend, Wally Kjorsvik (Petra). He was predeceased by his sister June Schneider. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Anne Mihalisin and Donna Chandler for their loving care.

Service and interment to be private.
