I met Sean on the play ground at Baranof Elemntary school in Sitka Alaska. We were both learning are ABC's in Kindergartan and almost everyday after school and on weekends we would talk on the phone for hours. I spent many nights over at Sean's house, he was the happiest and most fun kid, and his friendship was the most loyal friendship anyone could ever wish for. At that time Sean was my very best friend. When I heard of his passing I immidately felt empty inside because even though we were such good friends at that time we didn't necessarly remain such good friends but he always was never the less a friend. We haven't even seen nor spoken since High School Now, well now I ofton dream of Sean and few nights ago I had another dream that Sean was alive and with us and I can remember what he looks like now as if I had seen him yesterday. Sean will always be with me. I don't know why, but I know he is, and the only thing I wish is to have one more day with him to let him know that in my heart he will always be my best friend. God Bless you Sean and Sean's Family

Sean was passionate about many things, martaial arts, music and fitness being a few of many. Never met anyone with as much energy as him either. I too lived with Sean for many years in various houses in and around seattle( 1995-1998) . I think back to around then and am warmed by many a good time. Most of them involve playing music together, watching re runs of Kid's In the Hall, Sitka jokes and other great laughs.

Sean, where ever you might be I hope you still sing FC Woman. It wasn't your song but you always made it your own.

I lived with Sean for a few years, moving from a crazy hippie house in the U-dist to a really great place in Maple Leaf. Sean was awesome, hyper filled and always trying to be positive and engaged with his housemates. We had many a good times talking Martial Philosophy and playing music together up in his room. Sean! You are missed and remembered fondly. Peace.

Thank you all for writing something for Sean. For me (and I'm sure for everyone else) it's good to hear anything. I miss Sean all day long, and so many memories run through my mind. Growing up he influenced us in so many ways and many of the things that i'm interested in are things that Sean showed me all along the way. Some of the "little things" are what hit me the hardest. Metallica, Beastie Boys, Cat Stevens, the Meters, NOFX, and quite a lot of other music would not mean as much to me. Foods like Pho, Burkes ribs, sushi, teriyaki, and back steak don't either. I wouldn't know anything about Taekwondo, Seattle, or that an egg disentegrates withing a year after you throw it off of the deck (1988) if it weren't for Sean. There's so much more. Now he's gone and I won't get to share his excitement any more, and as the times went on, he would have had so much more to share. In that sense it feels like I'm lost and standing alone, dumbfounded as to who i'm supposed to be because he really did help make me into the person I am.

Probably a lot of people can identify with this in one way or another.

Just in case people didn't notice, the guest book will be open until next year,

I miss you brother,

Audrey

I feel so bad when I heard of Seans death. I had not talked to Sean in quite some time we both where going threw a lot but I have to say he still had such a great out look no matter what was going on. He made every one feel special and I do me EVERY ONE he came in contact with. His attitude made me really admire him and I am really sorry that I was not able to become close to him again like we where before. I am sorry Sean I guess we don't know what we have untill its gone. Thank you for all the giggles on the phone and online. Oh while your in heaven say Hi to my best friend Jimmy I am sure you are both in heaven.

I have just learned of Sean's passing and I am terribly sad. Sean and I had OI in common, and his optimism and enthusiasm for life were contagious. He was a charismatic man. We hadn't been in touch in a while but I looked forward to seeing him at OI functions. I send my condolences to his family and loved ones. He will live on in my heart and our memories.

Sean Garrison was my first teacher at WMAH. He was like a second father to me. He cared about all the kids at the dojang. He was inspiring and was helping me get more confident and louder. I will miss him and all of the things he contributed to the school.
