Shirley Doman Obituary
Shirley was born in Seattle, WA, and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1963. She went on to attend the University of Washington where she earned degrees in Business and Education. She enjoyed teaching and taught for 28 years at ShoreCrest High School.
Following her career in education she retired to Mount Vernon where she enjoyed spending her summers in Washington and winters in Mexico.
She is survived by her husband, Scott; son, Peter and his wife Tonya, and her two grandsons.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., March 19, 2016, at 1:00 pm at Bethany Covenant Church, 1318 S 18th St, Mount Vernon.

While at Shorecrest, I took a number of business classes. She was a gracious teacher and I enjoyed being in her classes. I have fond memories of her.

Scott, Norma and I were shocked to hear that Shirley had passed away. She was a classy, warmhearted lady. A lifetime passes so quickly and suddenly. We cherish the memories of those school times.

We were so sadden to hear of Shirley's sudden passing. She was such a warm, caring, considerate,and engaging person, and a terrific teacher. She will be missed by all of us. May god bless and watch overall all of you as you heal from the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother.

Dear Doman Family members,
I knew Shirley for the years we taught at Shorecrest High School. Shirley's smile captured my heart and her enthusiasm for learning also captured my heart. I am thinking of you during this difficult time and want you to know Shirley was one of a kind, one who we will miss dearly.
