Shizuko Rosie Nose

Shizuko Rosie Nose quietly passed away on February 8, 2017 at the age of 97. She was born on December 19, 1919 in Seattle to Toziro and Seku Kawagishi. She was 3rd of 9 siblings. Her family returned to Japan when she was young. After an arranged marriage, Shizuko & George Nose returned to America in 1940 with his family. After being interned during the war, the Nose Family moved back to Seattle in 1946.

Retiring from Sunset Sportswear, she and George enjoyed traveling, watching sports, cooking and going to grandsons little league games. She was a member of the Seattle Buddhist Church, Shigaken Kenjin Kai and the Buddhist Women's Assoc.

Predeceased by husband George of 64 years. Survived by son Henry Nose, daughter Janet Terada, grandsons Derek and Kelly Terada, great grandson Brandon Terada, many nieces and nephews, and family in Japan.

A very special thank you to "Family to Family Senior Care" in Sammamish for the great care she received for 21/2 years.

A private family service was held. She will be so dearly missed and forever loved.
