Dearest Steve,
You left us three years ago and I think of you every waking hour and dream of you at night. I´m still trying to figure out how to navigate this world without you by my side. But Your voice is alive and well in my mind and brings me comfort and guidance. You will be loved forever.

It has been 2 long years since you left us. I would do anything to have you by my side again. There is so much I need to share with you! I'm trying my best to carry out your wishes and make you proud. I hope you're watching and guiding me. I'll love you forever my sweetie.

It's been 5 weeks and 2 days since you left this world so unexpectedly. My life has been turned upside down.
You brought me such joy every day with your loving attention and kindness. The only thing I have now are the beautiful memories and a longing to be with you again.
Our family and friends are also trying to grasp that you are gone and they're trying so hard to comfort me.
They say that time heals. I hope it's true. But at this moment, I can't imagine my life without my best friend.
I love you and miss you with all the broken pieces of my heart.
Your partner, Judy

Steve was a wonderful, warm and thoroughly altruistic man. He made his living in a capitalist system, but his heart and soul were always on the side of the less fortunate. I remember how he volunteered to help others navigate complicated bureaucratic systems like Social Security, using his skills and comfort with numbers and processes to help others. I will miss this one-of-a-kind man.

Dear Judy,
My heart goes out to you and the rest of Steve's family. However, it was Steve -and later, you- whom I knew personally. Having known Steve over a number of years, I can say with some certainly that you brought more warmth and love into Steve's life than I had seen before. Steve was a gift in the lives of all who knew him. You were a gift in Steve's life.
I wish that I could join you tomorrow in celebrating his life, but long-standing commitments interfere with that wish.
Warmly,
Ben

Judy and Family:
I haven't met any of you, but I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Steve. We worked together in Cincinnati many years ago and really enjoyed each other. On one occasion we both went to London together on business resulting in a long term relationship with both our client and Lloyds. He was a real joy to work and laugh with. Even though we hadn't seen each oher for about 20 years we on a regular basis communicated via email. Steve will be miss his humor and fun sprit.

Steve was in fact the best friend anyone ever had to everyone who knew him. The world is a poorer place without him, and we will forever cherish the memory of his smile and wit. We wish to send our deepest condolences to Judy, Melanie and everyone else who is feeling the loss at his passing.
