Steven Schrum Obituary

Steven W. SCHRUM Born November 13, 1944 in Moline, Illinois; died November 15, 2003 in Shoreline, WA. Survived by his wife, Kathleen Schrum; son, Steven Schrum; brother, Michael Schrum; sister, Patricia Dick; and aunt, Dr. Marion Schrum. Also survived by Kathleen's family and numerous nieces and nephews. A Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army, Steven served two tours of duty in Vietnam, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross and Bronze Star. He retired as Audit Chief of the Medicaid Fraud Control Office for the Washington State Attorney General's office. Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, November 20th, at 7 p.m. at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 21st, at 9 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, 8500 8th Ave. N. E., Seattle. Interment, Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Mary Starkebaum, the VA Medical Center, and Arden Rehab & Healthcare Center for their loving care of Steve.
